The Zionist movement predates the holocaust and was first used to serve the British interests in the area. Makes sense. But doesn’t exactly make the Muslim nation happy. Understandably so, especially with European Zionist leaders starting the movement.

The religious oppression is a perfect tools by governments. There is no reason why Jews and Muslims can't live next to each other. They both refer to the Old Testament compared to Catholics and Protestants who are far more different in religion and practice to them. There will never be a solution over the Holy Land that both sides claim, and that's ok. They can still live side by side in harmony. But no. Instead of promoting calmness and harmony, governments worldwide promote war and fights. To demonise. To pick sides. For people to come together when they have common enemy. To benefit from having a middle east contact point for war and trade. Only 2 US president to the best of my memory pushed for peace agenda - JFK and Clinton's Camp David. Both did not last the presidency
Peace would probably mean losing a geopolitical ally. Makes more sense to fund a responsive war marching ready to act on western behalf on a moment’s notice
