Parenting is sometimes harder than others, having big conversations is so important but there is a need to be delicate so they can still come to their own conclusions. I'm always surprised and pleased when the yarn-cheese kid thinks about these things and you can see the gears working and it clicks. I wish my parents had these conversations with me so I'd be better prepared to have them with him. Break the cycle (if it hasn't been) with your kids! #momstr #parentstr #kidstr

That's what we're trying to do. It was hard to get to adulthood and realize that our parents did so many things that should have been done differently. Our biggest thing I think is talking about everything and teaching him how to communicate.
