#realy #devstr #progressreport some weird stuff going on with sticky mute lists on realy was driving me nuts and i dug through the code and found a bit of a problem in the accept event code and commented out a bunch of stuff that seemed to look wrong, and now it's fixed i also deleted my mute list mute lists are now all encrypted apparently, thanks for giving us an option you motherfucking asshole client devs nostr:npub1l5sga6xg72phsz5422ykujprejwud075ggrr3z2hwyrfgr7eylqstegx9z i hope you are going to make an option to have plaintext mute lists in #alexandria pls pls pretty please
anyhow, it warranted a version bump, v1.18.3 which also now creates the fulltext and language indexes... haven't implemented the search yet though, getting distracted with this bug with accepting events, which is now fixed finally, and my mute list is gone, so i guess i'm gonna see some things now and then that make me crazy but meh, the old list had nostr:npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj in it, not once, but twice, idk how that even happens but it seems like clients are not touching that part of the event anymore because the *consensus* among the in-crowd has determined that everyone wants private mute lists fuck your private mute lists, i'm not afraid of you punks
i'm glad to say at least anyway that the #realy is now behaving better, so it should actually work for people, except for mutes, because it used to respect mutes and filter out muted authors from results but now that's impossible which is part of the reason why i'm pissed about this - you guys have essentially made it so relays can't possibly filter out posts from users on their mute lists at the relay side but y'alls dickheads don't seem to care about users, just greasing up the grantoors who are your real clients, meanwhile us actual users... pssh since apparently it's so easy to make these clients with AI i might even sit down and have a crack at it and then fix it to actually not do this shit that probably the AI will automatically add to me no thanks to you all cunts
