3 full Lightning nodes, 0 Raspberry Pis, 0 hard drives over 2TB, very reliable, not difficult to build or manage. https://image.nostr.build/f5305fdc4ed95e563e59bc7fa581e073aca24299c439f5bada12f4737dd024f2.jpg The Pi path just has too many bottlenecks, but even an older refurbished PC under 100 bucks can do just fine. (There is a raspberry pi case in the background of this pic but it's not running a node) nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqkcpsw4kc03j906dg8rt8thes432z3yy0d6fj4phylz48xs3g437qyv8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnxda6kuarpd9hzuend9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcqyzvp4qk8mujvn4yspawk4m78q5zp5445nt0as6sthu7nhd7wjk5m2uqkhqy
Optiplex has been very reliable for me. I don't disagree about the bloat, it certainly is annoying. But to imply plebs can't run a node or will soon be unable to with 4TB hard drives is just not something I've seen evidence of yet. You can also run pruned on an SSD as small as 256MB without issue.
