Socialization or striving to be socially relevant literally strips people of their authenticity and true identity. This is a prevalent problem. We observe it in our social circles, online, grocery stores, friendships, relationships, workplaces, and so on —people act and speak in ways completely misaligned with their true selves, all in the name of relevance. It is selling and marketing oneself at its finest. They opt for what is famous, relevant, and socially acceptable, thereby adopting a false self. They allow this modification to infiltrate their personal space, altering their purpose based on what is visually observed in others. Sometimes, the issue is not an identity crisis but a matter of self-worth. The risk of not staying true to oneself and authentic across all areas of life will cost you far more in the long haul, stealing years of time, opportunities, relationships, your spirit, and ultimately your life itself. And for what? To fit in? To appease others? We must discard our masks and recognize that being authentic and true to ourselves may lead to pushback, disagreement, and discomfort. Lean into your authentic self and detach from the need for social acceptance, popularity, and the desire to please others. Your purpose and divine blueprint is awaiting your arrival to your true self. 🕊️ #truthstr #asknostr #nostr https://i.nostr.build/EnXxJ.jpg
