i like this interface, simple, and yet functional in useful ways, like, idk what you are doing with the highiight/outline hover effect other than making something to highlight when i screenshot but i gather it ties together with the compositional document structuring thing that is in the tubes

Yeah. We're going to make the highlighting more-intentional, with a double-tap, or something. That way, things don't light up, when you're just scrolling past. That's distracting.
it's quite nice for mouse based interface, maybe dim the highlight a little, and if it's possible to not show it when it's a touch controller
