What I'm hearing that is either helpful for the lowest earners or unhelpful to "businesses and things of that sort": No tax on: - tips - overtime - minimum wage Tax loopholes proposed closed: - carried interest tax deduction - sports team owners special tax break These are among the proposals so far, though Congress would need to act to make it happen.
