      Yeah, french toast has a custardy center whereas pancakes are cakey. Both 🀝

      Cannot argue. There will be a day when I successfully make a nice, thick crepe that doesn't stick like hell to the pan and actually tastes good.

      if you are talking about those american things that are made with self raising flour then there's your problem right there you should try crepes, they are the same except no sodium bicarb in them and they are thin and you slather them in tasty stuff like maple syrup and honey and lemon juice and sugar or even pile cheese on it after you flip it, then slather that in cream cheese, and scroll it up and eat it with a knife and fork it's what pancates are, those things are giant flat crumpets
