Watched In the mouth of madness (1994), a psychological horror movie directed by John Carpenter. An investigator is hired to locate a missing horror writer. During his investigation, he discovers the book drives the readers insane. It brings him to a mysterious town that technically doesn’t exist and he starts going crazy. We then follow his descent into madness. This movie was excellent. The best John Carpenter so far. The special effects were very impressive. Sam Neil, who plays the main character, was very believable as someone going insane. The tension was felt throughout the movie. There was no escape for all the characters, which was very believable. 8.2/10 #nodereviews

Didn't he make a weird like sci-fi/fantasy type movie that flopped. I could swear there was something set on mars with a buff hero that he made
Haven’t seen that one yet. There’s one called ghosts of mars (2001) left on the list. Not sure if that’s the one
lol, I finally figured it out (was trying to recall it other day too). It's John Carter...nothing to do with John carpenter, carry on 🙈💩
