TIA - the power is out for the whole town. My 2 bedroom side table lights are still lit. They are plugged directly into the wall and we don’t have a generator or full-house battery. How is this possible?

Another costarrican mistery... In my place there's redundancy in power lines (houses in front of my street are served by different power companies), so is rare the power goes down in all the town. But first time I hear a part of a house has power and other don't... Check for loose breaker switches idk 😶

No breakers tripped and there is still SOME voltage on the lines --just not enough to deliver current to most devices. Be careful! Don't assume anything is de-energized!
