i'm big on good names for things, and avoiding stutter especially drives me mad when i see context.Context and url.Url and several other clangers in the #golang stdlib but mostly they are good java idiom is notorious for 5+ word long PascalCase names... why i hate stupid and excessively descriptive names for things is because the more i have to read, the less i understand... again, another example of what i consider to be a common problem of programmers of wanting to express their perception of their own superiority onto their peers no! just bloody use the simplest, most concise and accurate words you can it can be harder for people who don't speak native english though... they are more prone to picking clumsy and excessively long symbols
