so, my main objection with a #hellthread is simply that it's a huge waste of data allocations for poor buggers with metered networks but if you could tag a lot of people using a Bloom Filter instead, that's not so bad only takes about 1 bit per key to make a bloom filter they will never match on you accidentally, they may just not match on you sometimes when you are in it no idea who is going to read this but this is a pretty decent solution for data size of big numbers of p tags
