Second East Friesian Dairy Ewe's Lambs are born. First day milking both East Friesian dairy sheep https://i.imgur.com/nbGP2T6.jpeg Both lambs came along to keep mama ewe comfortable while we milked her for the first time. https://i.imgur.com/KzUbjfi.jpeg Unfortunately, one side of her utter wasn't allowing milk to flow well and put out some clumpy discharge. This ewe's utter had an infection last season so we are pretty sure this issue is related. Great pudding as well
Can't wait! Each day we're getting a little more milk. I'm sure it will be more than we can drink in no time and then comes the yogurt, cheese, ice cream ect.
