I've been meaning to work on figuring out reticulum on 7mhz ISM. The big win would be NVIS type coverage, kinda like 40m js8 without a #hamradio license. Massive range with a single transmitter, hundreds of miles to global with the right atmospheric conditions. The big downsides would be antenna size compared to 900mhz ISM like #meshtastic and much more coverage variability over the course of a day and day to day.

Meshoulette is the #meshtastic group for the bitcoin las vegas conference. Helps you connect with like minded folks and a great fallback system in case it was needed. Hopefully it will never be. The #meshtastic Community is growing in my neighborhood. And interestingly, the tracker devices are leading the chart. I see a lot of them on my map, I’m guessing they use them for dogs? But also send a receive messes using them?

Any #nostr fans that are also into #meshtastic? My dad got me into it this past weekend and I'm excited to learn more about it as I play. Essentially making a mesh of #LoRa (long range radio) devices to operate 'off grid'. I'm interested to see if anyone here sees clever use cases or simply is messing around like I am. anywho, GM!

First time trying this... this is a meshtastic channel for the nostr folk. its MQTT enabled. so im guessing we should be able to connect. location is disabled by default. but double check so that you dont dox yourself. No worries. If I want GPS Tracking I can switch back to #meshtastic firmware. There is a plugin example for Sideband on Linux though. But having one on the RNode would be nice.
