I wouldn't even notice if my client didn't have follow count. It isn't a metric I value. I value interaction (or not if I'm lurking). That's fair enough. To each their own.
It sounds like that could just be what you've made it. I don't get that vibe at all. But I also intentionally didn't choose that for this npub. I think that is the beauty of Nostr. We get to pick. And we don't even have to pick just one way. You can have different npubs for totally different vibes (something I'm considering).
