"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Airman's Odyssey this is very important for programmers to understand - that features and complexity have an exponential effect on both security and time to market - and with specifications, the lag of implementations the NIPs are starting to suffer from serious feature bloat, at some point it is going to become a Big Ball of Mud because too many things are added and the implementations start to diverge so much we get serious interoperability problems simplify whenever possible, add only when there is no way to make another way effectively serve the purpose of the addition #devstr #philosophy #engineering
