It's so funny, when you hear about all of these women with armies of simps who buy them luxury goods, take them out to fancy dinners, and fly them on exotic vacations, when normal women are hardly approached or asked to split the check at the bakery. And then consider that a lot beautiful women are crowded into the "normal" group. 😂 It's all about attitude, I guess.

It does. Doesn't even sound appealing to me. Like.... Can't we just Netflix and chill, instead? 😂 Like when I see influencers posting from their latest hotel or yacht harbor and it's like... they have such a crappy life. I get to hang out in Oma's garden.

I guess so, I mean there’s plenty of women out there that enjoy luxury labeled items and want to show it off on insta and that. I personally cannot stand luxury brand labels that scream ‘look at me’! But that’s me I’m in a minority not the majority.

Strangely enough, I live in a rural region where men significantly outnumber women, and none of the women expect more luxurios treatment from guys they're dating. And they're probably dating one guy per year, or so, or less. Seems to be maybe an urban thing.

I think some have lost their ways and morals to show off what they have, where they go and what they wear. It’s all about having expensive items/holidays to impress people that you don’t like. I don’t get it.

But we do have high expectations, in our own way, don't we? Like, we expect more attentiveness, reliability and empathy. If he's late or will be away for awhile, I'd expect him to call or text me. If I've had a bad day at work, I expect him to at least pretend to care and give me a hug, and let me rant. Bring me something to drink, if he sees me chatting with my friends on the couch. Yeah, I guess I'm looking at character traits. Same stuff I'd look for in a friend, employee, or even a business partner, I guess. I don't like drama, ghosting, meanness, indifference, tardiness, wastefullness, etc. No amount of money would make up for that. And someone with good character traits is a better financial bet, overall, in lots of different ways. Like, my husband does a good job when he's at home with the kids. I can go to work or school and I come home and everything is fine and he's cooking dinner and is like, How was your day, honey? He's just a good person.

I really needed that, too! I tend to have jobs with odd hours or business trips. If I'm off at a conference for a week or two, I don't want to come home to the kids half-starved and the house looking like it's been hit by a tornado. I want to come home to some nice pasta and a glass of 🍷 and someone to talk to.
