I've been bullish since Obi and Justin's talk at Bitcoin 2022 on the Open Source stage. Specific to Fedi, the pace of (business) development strikes me as very slow over the past year, but that could be everything from keeping tight lips, to regulatory hurdles, to it's just damn hard to drive adoption and gain endorsements. All in all, I'm close enough to some key people on the team to have high confidence that they'll pull it off. As for Fedimints, more generally, Mutiny's Jobs to Be Done take seems like where a lot of us will end up: needing something to bridge the gap between the current reality of the Lightning Network and an unyielding need to improve end-user UX/CX. And the best something looks like fedimints, at least for now.
