pv 🤙 What's your favourite username? If you fancy a short link to your Nostr profile, iris .to /username links are now available 💫 They are also handy for searching nostr users if you know the user's Nostr address ([email protected]). Visit the FAQ and video for details: https://github.com/irislib/faq#iris-username and go get yours (iris .to on Settings menu) ✨ Did we mention they are free but you cannot change it so what's your fav username 😁 #nip05 #nostraddress #username #nip5 #irisaddress #irislink https://nostr.build/av/nostr.build_8af53f56d6a1d177649e9c518839f064e689b71cbf350f3bded465dab76d691c.mp4

My nip05 isn't showing up on my profile? "[email protected]" should be showing correct?

Love my profile name! This is quite a treat by Iris, thanks Martti
True — you have registered the username, but for some reason it doesn't resolve. Could be some cloudflare cache issue. Looking into it.
Thank you:)
Looks like a Brave issue, it shows up on Firefox. On brave it will let me register it over and over again. On Firefox it shows me it's already registered and it shows on my profile.
I changed nostr.json?name=user not found error code to 418 so CF doesn't cache it. But maybe it should return code 200 with empty {"names":{}}? I wonder how others do it.

If you register a username on iris.to and later on change your NIP-05 address then the previously registered username becomes available again?
Looks like it can't be changed.
I ask because I created a username on iris and then changed the NIP-05 address on my profile and my previously registered iris.to/username was said to be "available" when I opened iris.to from a "new" browser and tried to register it again with a "new" private key.
Were you able to get the username with a new key?
I did not finish the process from the new key as I didn't want to lose my username but I typed it and it was said to be available.
Iris on Brave says it's available even though I am currently using it. On Firefox it's not available.
Since I did this on Chrome that might be the same case.
