What we really need is - focused communities to upload the content. Literally. That's the task. Alexandria's technology enables all of this. Our spec is there and we have methods to upload. We even have a tool to turn youtube lectures into readable articles. Technically we're missing interactive and navigational features on our web client, but otherwise - Alexandria's vision is to be a superset of most knowledge base apps. Right now, its in a mostly read only state. Sure, you can find a standard. You can be careful in how you organize it when you upload - but that's a problem with document organization, not technology. You can upload and converge on standards. --- Imagine using websockets for just reading and writing documents, and that's it. Now imagine what documents could be if we could edit documents at the full rate enabled websockets.
