Going from the Bitcoin Policy Summit to the Government Finance Officer's Association (GFOA) is a trip! I'm trolling everyone by asking what they think about Bitcoin. The concensus so far is that it's a trend that hasn't left the crypto-punk / libertarian crowd and will be forgotten about in 5 years. One gentleman told me a tragic tale about how he invested in block chain backed diamonds, and was crushed when industrial diamond production was indistinguishable from naturally made diamonds. #asknostr #bitcoin have you all heard of this? Who's selling block chain backed diamonds? Apparently he's doing much better now because he keeps gold in his garage and that's appreciated so much recently. I asked if it's out earning Bitcoin. He started shouting about intangibles. I asked him about the recent CERN development where they turned lead into gold. He didn't want to talk about it. It's so fun having questions that so reliably get people uppity 🤣🤣🤣
