The 2nd Plenum will be followed by the NPC meeting kicking off on March 6th. That’s where the CCP will finalise all key government appointments. There’s a difference (without distinction?) between the CCP and the government. Once this event finishes, that is when we will begin to see with greater clarity where China is headed for the remainder of the year. As mentioned here over the weekend, it is clear that - at least here in Shanghai - there’s been a return of economic activity.
