#mochi the #catstr is in at the vets now, they needed to have him in there for about 6 hours the surgeon lady said they thought they would have to pull out all of his teeth and i'm like "no, please save his fangs at least" because without those fangs he won't be able to tear up meat and i'll have to always cut it into small pieces he can swallow i really hope they leave at least two of his fangs, damn, poor little guy,
yeah, i am praying for my little one that he isn't mutilated, some teeth, ones that aren't important, ok, but to me all of them is mutilation, i hope she got it, i was pretty emphatic, i felt like i should have said "i'll risk it please" because i don't feed him carb laden trash and will feed him proper meat as much as possible once he's all better all i got is a prayer at the moment... it just seems crazy to me since the swelling of his gums reduced a lot thanks to the antibiotics and antiinflammatories, he was only poking out his tongue a little bit already only sometimes and a lot not at all
fortunately he still has enough teeth left to tear off chunks from meat so i'm happy enough, but after the course of medicines he's been assigned i want to give him some time to feel more chill and not like he's about to get poked and prodded anymore all of the treatments were necessary but i told them right from teh start i was pretty sure he was gonna need dental surgery and that's what they ended up giving him... the only other things they really helped with was clearing an ear infection and eye mites infection, both are completely gone, and in a few days hopefully his mouth heals up and he isn't gagging on his own gums anymore they wanted to get his nasty lumps in the back right of his mouth analysed for cancer but i read up on it and if he has cancer intervention has little effect on his life and a lot of pain and expense for nothing, and i seriously doubt he has mouth cancer when he lives out here and at least part of his diet was lizards and mice, far away from cars and industry
