This might sound like nostr addiction. But I want a car friendly audio based client. Reads notes as I drive. Gives me a chance to reply, like, zap, or play next with voice input.

Having an Android Auto client would be cool, but also dangerous. People are distracted enough. So, it would have to be done right.
The Outlook app already has this feature. I use it every morning. 1) Plays new emails, you can reply/flag. 2) If it’s a meeting invite you can RSVP. If Microsoft put it in the app, most probably I would say it’s tested for distraction. Just mimic the same feature exactly. https://i.nostr.build/gZ95B.jpg
Wow. That's much better than anything I've seen for Android Auto. Yikes. Android Auto will let you listen to messages from apps and reply, that's about it. I cant believe the configuration options you have. I don't use Outlook. I've been using Nine for email for over a decade. I bought it before Outlook for Android even exisiredt. I'm curious what they have for Android Auto support.
I think their implementation is quite smart. I don’t believe it a Car Play or Android Auto thing, but I’m not 100% sure. The app intelligently becomes a music player basically. If that makes sense. So it works wherever whenever. But you can imagine how much time this saves. Also, the Outlook App can connect to many mail services, good chance you can’t test your email on it. Not sure about the privacy part though.
Maybe that’s how it gets implemented.
