Right - otherwise we lose the value of hard-won knowledge. The 'Promethean Flame' can extinguish itself; important to remember to appreciate and consider the capability and responsibility of this time in which we live. -- I hear you, and it is unfortunate that We waste so much time burning energy on trivialities; largely by design - to consume finite matter, in finite time. --- Lot's a 'Why's' to refine there. --Ha! --But yeah, the earth is flat, modern medicine is incredible, we know that its possible to deliver healthcare at the national level more cost-effectively, there is abundant sunlight and wind we can pair with batteries for a longer game paired with prudent selection of nuclear and/or alternative tech. for the redundancy, technical maturity, and intermittency-issues ...and with patches the size of US states worth of trees and life burning from the Amazon (ONE of the 'Lungs of the Earth') is a single year....that can only happen so many times...and the number is NOT 100.... We can employ millions of people deploying and building the infrastructure and transition of energy grid, and support necessary things to come in 10 years or so...one of the most...importance resources we'll have ...and something we MUST get very good at broadly...'Water'....but that's a whole thing.... -- So yeah -- we don't have time to debate whether the Earth revolves around the Sun; a dude already did house arrest and pissed off a Pope for that a few hundred years ago..it was silly af then...silly af now....'and still the earth moves' ---- Meanwhile A.I out here kicking off, and what I DO know if media is anything to go by, is I must keep a weather eye out for sexy-AI robots with translucent torsos and relentless parkour robot dog/soldiers with thumbs, weapons, a well engineered energy system, and 'all-points' wifi...... I've no time for folks breaking beers my guy...Simply....no Time. HA!
