Grats!
Hey that’s cool man. Are you a Bitcoiner? Or nah
44319 - 2y
I would say yes but depends on how pure one must be to qualify as a "Bitcoiner". I've been buying BTC since 2020, and only hodl it (no selling). Traded some others too but just sold the last of them (ETH). Set up a Raspberry pi BTC node a few months ago. Starting to play with Lightning too. I've read several newbie BTC books and am now starting _Mastering Bitcoin_. I owe a lot to folks like yourself who have led the way, so thank you!

Sounds like a bitcoiner to me. My story and timelines are almost identical. Congrats on hodling. It’s been a rough couple of years.
Yeah bro you’re a Bitcoiner. What node software are you running on that pi?
1a4a8 - 2y
Bitcoiner ✊ We are a welcoming bunch. It is mostly the shitcoiners who like to claim otherwise.
Umbrel. As many will know, the Raspberry pi is overpriced right now for what it is. But if you are only minimally skilled and value your time, it may be worth it because there is a big ecosystem so setup is simple. I then installed Sparrow on my desktop and connected it to my own node. Took a couple tries to figure it out but it was worth it!
