Completely agree; I read Chris Dixon's book, "Read Write Own," recently and came to the conclusion that you can very simply replace any instance of "blockchain" and "tokens" with "Nostr" and "ecash" for whatever product/solution the crypto crowd talks about in order to actually make it make sense. He's highly directionality correct, but it comes from a lense of misplaced or "sufficient" decentralization based on "staying within the bounds of the law," which I think is a generally bad foundation when it comes to decentralized systems because laws are quite literally social constructs that can have their goalposts moved on a whim. These systems MUST be neutral, and most (if not all) "crypto" blockchain systems have authorities that can actually permission development and usage.
The legal angle is incredibly important; it's the pinnacle of building it right and making it last.
This is the way.
