i had a rather strange dream this morning... i was like in this shopping center or something, and i had this trolley and i was picking out all these clothing items and throwing them in there, and then as i was driving the trolley through some tunnel thing, for what reason i don't know, i walked away from it, after seeing my two old highschool buddies and coconspirators for whatever reason, hanging out with a little group of people in this spot
so, then i've lost my trolley, and i'm frantically wandering around trying to find it again, and i run into my friends again in an entirely different place, it was rather weird, so i start hanging out with them and we go walking and i'm on this pavement and step over onto this slopey, rough textured thin and it sorta rotates as i walk up further, and below, a storey below me, is some concrete walkways and i just go "oh well fuck it i'll just fall into that and i'm fine, then i wake up
its not the first time in recent months i've had a dream about losing something important and being unable to find it again... actually, the previous time might have been just last week after i thought i lost my bitcoin wallet...
well, i found that, and i have a working system again, it's all set up correctly now, even have been able to finally get Msys2 MinGW building that damn secp256k1 library that i set as default in realy
so, i guess even though in the dreams i never find the stuff again, in real life i am reclaiming it... my bitcoin wallet, my ability to work on this code without the bullshit of WSL2, i even have a system image backup now, and can literally restart from where i was yesterday
i was kinda reluctant to go to windows again after almost a decade almost only ever using ubuntu or some similar thing but the rigmerole with this video card has made me too crazy and i'm over it
