In bear markets we build and expand. We’ve listed the SpecterDIY Shield. It’s one of the longer running open source signer / hardware wallet projects. It has matured and is now ready to be listed. Next to that we are listing the bottle that contains all bitcoin. As per request of our loyal bitcoin maxi Noderunners client base. Cheers and GM. https://bitcoinbrabant.com/product/specter-shield/ https://bitcoinbrabant.com/product/seed-bottle/ https://image.nostr.build/a190573ed5162eab304d9ce4bfefea1b54db178fe802bcd5e8ad74536b5128a1.jpg

Noderunners will inherit the earth pin. Limited edition "Noderunners will inherit the earth pin". 6000 sats of every pin has gone to support the Noderunners. The Noderunners, a group of dedicated Bitcoiners from the Netherlands/Flanders region, have been honoring fellow full node operators by knighting them as honorary members of the Noderunners. These exceptional individuals are awarded “Shield pins” at conferences and meetups. By purchasing the “Noderunners Will Inherit the Earth Pin,” you’re directly supporting our mission to recognize and celebrate those who contribute to Bitcoin’s success. Why Support? We understand that running a full validating economic node requires time and effort. We also recognize the hard work put into developing software, creating podcasts, writing books, producing artwork, composing music, and tirelessly educating friends and family about Bitcoin. To all you dedicated plebs out there: We see you, and we appreciate your efforts! The Shield Pin: An Exclusive Honor The coveted Shield pin cannot be bought – it can only be earned. If we identify you as a full node operator, especially if you contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem in additional ways, a Noderunner might knight you as an honorary member. How You Can Help? If you appreciate the efforts, please consider purchasing the “Noderunners Will Inherit the Earth Pin.” Your support enables the Noderunners to continue the initiative and honor those who strengthen the Bitcoin network. Thank you for supporting the Noderunners and the broader Bitcoin community! https://image.nostr.build/de43689be4668824579e84afe19871c4b11ba9f76c74f771c7ef3faef3a0b78b.jpg https://image.nostr.build/ccfbe937491689744bbeb93c69d02e40f25f0b692a37db8ff630815da6656032.jpg
More and more people across the Netherlands are using the anonymous shipping (with stamps) option via the mailbox. There is a risk involved as there is no tracking and the postman these days are known for not doing their job well lately. The issue with the nostr:npub19canpmsgykwumm43uxmp0l5sernavvnrf87mau9a6xnjfx6ajjhsh9qj29 Q is that it is ~a mm to thick to get into the Dutch mailbox. We have to carefully push it through and then check if the package wrap (thinnest plastic we could find) is still intact in combination with the stamps. We manually write down your address on the package and stick physical stamps and bring it to a postbox. We don’t add a return destination, so it’s fully untraceable to us. We delete your data a couple days after shipment, as always. With the coldcard MK4s it’s much easier to ship, even multiple, fully anonymously. Wish more manufacturers took this local anonymous shipping option into account. We specifically designed nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl packaging for this. Most orders are from broader Europe and we see more and more “ship to service point” requests. Doing this to Denmark and Sweden is easy with DHL. Doing this towards more southern countries in EU this is still a mess. As we manually input every shipping order, to preserve your data (business shipping accounts can be accessed by almost any employee and there’s no 2FA). And off course we don’t ship under our name and always with anonymous packaging. People think the European Union is open transport of goods and people, but it is not. Some of our packages we ship are opened by customs. This is a painful, time consuming and sometimes costly matter. It has took us years to optimize for privacy, but we’ve recently had a request to supply a copy of the ID of an order. Apparently the person was Russian and the shipping company reached out. We forwarded the email (as we delete a few days after shipment) if there are any issues with the international shipments like this one. The customer did not have an issue sharing a copy of his ID with the shipping company. Also in the Netherlands with PostNL, the local biggest shipper, packages going to a package point you have to use your digital ID to open the locker. What the hell is happening in EU? Will we not be able to ship anything anonymously anymore soon? What are your thoughts about this? https://image.nostr.build/0b9fe68f85223cdf8159d0780d9291e41f6fe17a4c8f265c43dfb2fb42c09013.jpg https://image.nostr.build/88b38bd7b1a18a478dffcaaf3fe2f7c5349747fa9fb4ce2522b26f16a3a3233f.jpg
When polls on nostr? Bet there’s more engagement here than on dead x
What is the long term outlook? Will more or less than 1% of the global population hold their own keys? And more or less than 0.1% run their own node?
Every day we sell nodes, signing devices, backup solutions, books, mining devices. Support for everything bitcoin. Over the years it’s strange to see how best selling articles shift. When you click through our webshop you can see what has been sold most recently. As the shop automatically puts best sellers on top per category. This basically pushes best selling articles to be sold even better. Until they are sold out of course 😂 we only list what we have in stock. And our stock is yuge. https://bitcoinbrabant.com/winkel/
It’s been a long time since we sold a Tinyseed, but finally after many months, today was the day. The interesting thing about the Tinyseed is, we used to sell quite some multisig packs. Since they got individually listed we almost don’t sell them anymore. Should we list the multisig option (which is 3 individual Tinyseeds with different color wraps) separately? https://bitcoinbrabant.com/product/tinyseed/
On X we reached 5678, are we too late? We don’t follow anyone there anymore, just to make sure nobody knows who we adore. When dropping followers your timeline is ruined, it’s just engagement of which you can’t be bothered. It’s unfortunately too early to leave for nostr alone, almost zero engagement as posts feel long gone. What should we do to increase vibrance over here?

A physical bitcoin business basically doesn’t make bitcoin but supports bitcoin and bitcoiners by using it. The opportunity cost in general is higher. Let’s take our nodes that we’re setting up as an example. We import the devices, takes a couple of weeks, we install the software and repackage etc. Over that month and high number of imports we pay 0.1 btc. In the meanwhile bitcoin jumps, now we can only sell the devices for 0.08 in total over the course of the months where stock is slowly being sold. Of this 0.08 we have to give 0.02 to the state in tax. This is basically an ongoing story over the past years. Many tell us to just borrow fiat, but that just keeps the fiat system alive as we have a debt obligation… Financial chicanery might suffocate the state faster, while we support the state by continually losing bitcoin and paying taxes… As we would ask in Dutch English (Denglish) once again: “What is wisdom?”
Which signing devices in its standard workflow connect to the manufacturer’s remote server? There is no optimal choice. It’s all trade offs. That’s why we offer them all.
Would be great to see it capable of handling the requests 😂⛏️🔥
This concept is seriously interesting. A bet on hitting the block reward. If this scales sufficiently it could be multiple blocks in a six hour time frame, mined by “for rent” miners. Guaranteed income for miners, you either hit more or less than what you “gambled”. nostr:note1ey8rd0luysn099la0y27krcafmj2psqp3u52427957w94vq464gqpwl3dh
