#chainanalysis gets more irrelevant the more that #lightning is usable instead of #onchain i get my pay to a fresh address on my bitcoin core node onchain transfer that to my #NoKYC wallet of satoshi, and zap zap zap zap it goes, first to my #xapo bank to pay rent and the rest to my alby hub where it sits ready to zap to the bank or wherever, nostr, bitrefill, random vendor that accepts LN no traces on a guaranteed immutable ledger i don't have the patience or the need to wait for or pay for on chain security and slow processing people who whine about how "lightning can't scale to everyone" are being so retarded i could scream at this point, the utilisation of the chain for Lightning channel transactions can increase a hell of a lot more, at this point a bit over 5000 bitcoin in channels, each of which can transmit at least half that in volume every few seconds probably a lot more capacity exists for private channels than that, also, and yet even still the on chain tx fee is ~4sat/vbyte obviously we can open a lot more channels yet before even touching the economic limit of this system i have no patience for lightning haters, they are just completely out of touch with reality, and most especially the moneros and shitcoiners who don't get it, they are even worse because it doesn't take that much time to learn about what is really happening out there in the wild

Comment sécuriser vos #Bitcoin (Sats)? Retirez vos Sats des exchanges, mais avant rassurez-vous de comprendre les implications du #selfcustody: C’est non seulement l’expression totale de votre souveraineté individuelle en ce qui concerne vos Sats mais surtout une responsabilité individuelle. Ce qu'il faut savoir: - Votre cold storage n’est qu’un appareil de signature qui ne contient pas vos sats qui sont sur le #Timechain de #Bitcoin - Si une autre personne trouve vos clefs (12 ou 24 mots) elle peut avoir accès à vos fonds - Si vous perdez vos clefs d’accès vous perdrez vos fonds a jamais - Ne faites pas de photos de vos clefs d’accès car votre téléphone/ordi/tablette ou service cloud peut être piraté et vos clefs exposées. Danger de perte. Pratiquez le #selfcustody avec une petite somme, quelques millers de Sats; suffisamment de sats pour couvrir les frais de transaction, vu que le self-custody est une opération #onchain et en fonction de l’activité de minage vos frais peuvent être plus ou moins élevés. - Simulez une perte et essayez de récupérer votre wallet sur un autre appareil. - Essayez des moyens de récupération alternatives si disponibles - Trouvez un moyen simple et sûr de sécuriser vos clefs d’accès - Ne soyez pas trop créatifs avec vos clefs d’accès pour éviter les risques d’oubli et de perte. Cela dit, certains de #bitcoiners utilisent des hot wallets (applications mobiles/webs) surtout pour pouvoir faire des transactions Lightning sans passer par leur node personnel. Ces bitcoiners y gardent une quantité de Sats qu’ils pourraient perdre sans trop de regrets. Il faut noter que cette decision relève aussi d’une responsabilité individuelle, même si certains services de hot wallet vous proposent de "sécuriser" et récupérer vos fonds. avec un e-mail et mots de passe. En matière de self-custody, il y'a plusieurs fabricants et services qui vous proposent une gamme d'appareils de signature (de sécurisation/accès) et services.
