#purplestack alpha is out!
For the audacious and intrepid, git clone the repo or call stacks

It is based on the purplebase Dart library, Riverpod, GoRouter, Material 3, and others including Amber Signer.
It features a long context file that I have been refining over a few weeks while building Derekstr and Zapstore.
As well as built-in components like a note parser and an engagement widget for displaying likes, comments, zaps, etc.
There will be bugs, guaranteed, but if you want to try it out let me know what you think.

Upgrading the infrastructure, frameworks, migrations, indexer, relays, developer tools etc, even with the massive help of AI agents, has been a very long process... near milestone completion, but still ongoing.
A process that mostly goes unnoticed as there are no visual indications.
The last significant user-facing feature was adding zaps to the Zapstore Android app. That was back in January.
I'm proud of the work I've done these months so far, but as it still does not materialize in visual features it is frankly a bit tolling.
Many users keep asking for app features and I feel I keep promising and promising 😅 and not delivering. I have to work on my patience every day and keep grinding.
One of these framework projects is Purplebase, a Dart framework for nostr, the way I wanted it designed.
Based on it, I came up with #purplestack , an agentic system like MKStack but for Flutter. I'm using it to build Zapstore 1.0 from scratch, and start shipping tons of user-facing features that have been requested for like forever, and that I am incredibly eager to see live.
Not only that, my hope is to empower experienced and vibe coders alike to start making all kinds of Android freedom apps and publish them to Zapstore. So I guess that besides distribution, I'm working on the creation side too.
As for content, we should soon see 1000+ new apps added and a streamlined option to suggest new ones. These will all go to a "bridge" custom relay, and the standard relay will only keep developer-signed releases. With relay management, it will be trivial to select these specific catalogs.
Social features, various DVM integrations, all coming too.
Also, I badly want developers to self-publish, so I put a lot of effort to make zapstore CLI the easiest and most powerful publishing tool of any app store or package manager.
All that said I definitely need holidays, so I will be pausing for 2-3 weeks next month regardless of the status of anything.
Thank you for using Zapstore, I'm grateful for every single mention or request because they are a reminder that my mission is underway.
