The award ceremony took place in the presidential palace in #Ankara. Recep Tayyip Erdogan awarded commanding officers of foreign rescue units, who had participated in alleviating consequences of the devastating earthquakes that hit the country's south and southeast on 6 February, and the heads of the diplomatic missions of the countries, which had helped Türkiye in this time of need. Igor Zarembo received a medal from the #Turkish president while Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of #Belarus to Türkiye Viktor Rybak received a letter of thanks signed by the Turkish minister of foreign affairs.
