Unfortunately I do believe that's true. I don't think the impetus is so much about removing a specific race, but rather finding employees who are vulnerable so they are easier to abuse. (Although obviously race plays a factor). It's hard to unionize and demand better when you're being threatened by ICE. But the foreigners are hypnotized by the allure of the American dream and think they can do better for themselves here, gonna end up as slaves while all of us locals are on the streets begging. At some point fires are going to start and everyone will act surprised and horrified and they'll have no one to blame but themselves π―
It's frustrating that the only real action items to prepare are move out of the city and hold on to your hats cause it's gonna get rough πΆβπ«οΈ
