Welcome all new joiners. #introductions I want to leave you with an analogy that hopefully will help you understand nostr and decentralization. Traditional social is like living in a hotel 🏨 Service comes everyday to change sheets and clean bathrooms and gives you fresh towels. And if you are hungry, you can pick up a phone and order food to your room 3am in the morning. Nostr is like living in you home -it could be an apartment in a community building, or a house in a farm in the middle of nowhere- this comes with a set of responsibilities. If you don’t clean the dishes, take out the trash, tidy your bed, and clean your bathrooms, your apartment will probably stink. Just keep that in mind. And learn from the amazing people here how to keep things tidy and clean and you will have a wonderful time. Welcome 🙏
