i got calle to admit one time that ecash was precisely the same as a wildcat bank... but he never really changed his aggressive marketing to be more moderate and remind people that you gotta trust mints, and not just their honesty but their ability to maintain their infrastructure
well, you can also look at the history of it too... not long after the endless seasons of bankruns due to wildcat banking they rolled out the fed, i mean, is it hyperbolic to suggest that normalizing of ecash mints could lead to a really big attempt to take control of the ledger?
