Three new nostr:npub1s3ht77dq4zqnya8vjun5jp3p44pr794ru36d0ltxu65chljw8xjqd975wz affiliated bots will commence publishing tomorrow: nostr:npub1dy6trdf8pvgt72h2xap9xsu79l0792urjulwktlnfhq4kahgfqgsa8jjcc nostr:npub194xnj5fu66xkx259v0fv8626cves8aewdl7d8jd4v02s4hm99a8qzw9m2d nostr:npub1r0r9c7upagp9s5vmxqkcjymj4mqwqw2g8m029j7pgthr2u2yl5dsn9a3r6 Building them with this: https://github.com/SilberWitch/Nostrbots
I just need bots for testing, but I've actually been wanting to build these particular ones, for myself, so I decided to use them as a guinea pig. They're not completely done, yet, but the concept works.
These are the ones I'm going to try running from my NAS, eventually.
Okay, finally got them all working. Still need to add the content, but that's actually the easy part. Going to bed. GN nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzplfq3m5v3u5r0q9f255fdeyz8nyac6lagssx8zy4wugxjs8ajf7pqqs2pt6vp28aj2v084lv7qzrxen24g2t4kmnaqh3zhjq2n437c5pl6sys9fgj
So, we'll soon have the Liturgy of the Hours running on Nostr, including information about the saints and stuff. #catholic #biblestr
The finance bot is going to regularly post information about gold, stocks, etc. #economics #finance
They're only going to post long-form, by the way.
I've been wanting to do this, for so long, and I was too out of sorts to make it to Mass, so I did this, instead. Really excited about it. NOSTR NEEDED THE DIVINE OFFICE! 🤩

Opens GitHub repo, sees “written in PHP”, cries a little, closes the repo. 😭😂🫂(I maintain a lot of PHP code)
I'll eventually have a python version, for #Alexandria, but I'm in charge of PHP implementations, so I'm doing a couple of small projects with that, to warm up. I was just doing databases for a couple of years. I like the PHP Helper library, tho. Recommend.
I'm excited that someone opened it up, tho. 🫂
It ran. 🥺🥰
I have been doing a dev pipeline in PHP for Sybil, too. It's like: composer install linter PHP Unit Allure Send note to my devops npub upon FAIL That last bit will come in handy, with #Alexandria, as it's a website we'll be monitoring with a Selenium smoke test that runs every hour, in additional to the normal service-status monitoring page.
Yes. Just have to pull the content and put it in the notes. Adding that today. Have to figure out what all to put into it, and whether to do all of the hours or just morning/evening. Guess we can vote. 😂 They ran successfully this morning, during the appropriate hour (I told it to post sometime between 4:59 and 6:00 am.)
They have an RSS feed. 🤔 https://divineoffice.org/feed/

They have lots of different languages. Interesting. https://github.com/DivinumOfficium/divinum-officium/tree/master/web/www/horas
This would be nice in #Alexandria, now that I think of it. Maybe have a simplified Morning/Evening version for long-form, that also posts a note in kind 01, and then the full shebang on Alexandria, for the real Liturgy nerds.
Yeah, I that's where I checked, but you can see that he only pulls one of them.
Oh, yeah, we could do that.
nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr that would give you some testdata for the notifications.

Thanks! But I’d rather prefer to get rid of all PHP code that I have now and forget about it. 😂🤣🫂
I always look at the repo that my follows are publishing. You never know what you will learn while digging in the code! 🫂🫂🫂
