So many nostr users are developers. This is good but in the short term it’s also very messy. New users will come at a rate that looks disappointing but if massive waves did, it’d be even more disappointing.

millennials used to be the gods of kickstarting social media, now that power has been given to gen z. for example: tiktok..

make an app designed for gen z that internally uses nostr. make it feel as intuitive as possible with username/password logins without things like giving full key custody slowly remove the cover you gave it and reveal the nostr internals

Buying people with money has become easier then anytime before in history.... INFLUENCERS 😆 + People are set in stone with the username and password mentality. Maybe long nSec string scares them away 🤷. Giving people one click login will absolutely give them a better experience but it will still require initial set up I guess. + More local nostr meetups and not just one big unconference far far away every few months. Local gatherings might make a big impact.
I would rather see a $15,000/mo airdrop to all Nostriches with a valid NIP-05.
One of the things that attracts me to nostr is the ease of creating bot without a permission. It's a fun place to play around. Bots cant be and never will be eliminated in their entirety. Let's take the rise of an AI as a test of how adoptive we really are.

I had a short meeting today about speaking at Bitcoin Atlantis. I'd love to go to promote Nostr. However, I can't afford to go unless travel and accomodations are paid. Derek Ross isn't a household name in the Bitcoin community, so I won't be getting my expenses paid unless something changes with their funding. Maybe I should actually do this? I don't have a marketing title by trade, but back when I was a business owner for the better part of a decade, I loved wearing the marketing hat and advertising hat. I have sales and marketing in my blood. I grew up with it. I'm a natural communicator, even though I'm also a tech nerd 🤓😂. I used to speak all of the time. Since I don't technically do this for a living, I don't know if I should? Thoughts? Dumb? Not a good use of donated funds?
