To those of you who live outside the US (especially expats) what country are you in and how well do you think a family of three with a young child would fair moving there? I have four years until I retire from my current leash and then we are thinking if leaving the country for some where slower, more nature oriented, and with a lower cost of living. #expat #homestead #dadstr

Nothing you wouldn't expect. Mainly been thinking of Central and South American countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, Paraguay, etc. But now we are considering a family homestead/compound with my in-laws in the states. We've been far from family for a long time, so it would be nice for our kid to have her grandparents, aunts, cousins, and all around.
