MM has the best side quests in the entire franchise. And yeah, most people who complain never finishing MM say they got filtered on the first few quests before Woodfall. I sincerely had zero chance of finishing this game when it came out because I didn't know English that well back then.

They designed MM for players who finished OoT first, they know very well what they were doing. On the remake for the 3DS they backpedaled and literally nerfed aspects of the game (changes proposed by Eiji Aonuma himself, unfortunately)

The sides are pretty cool and the best for sure, a major improviment. Defending the farm with bow until morning, shooting badits while protecting the milk delivery.. can't wait to finish Anju's side. Yeah it must be pretty wild if is the first Zelda game for the person too because they may not even know how to start or get and Tatl is not like Navi lol. I can relate with that, would be cool as childhood game but I wouldn't stand a chance.

Hoo man that's a bummer bc MM is a OoT sequel and one is supposed to play it first, but they felt the need of dumbing down for those who didn't..
