so i'm working on a #golang and anti- #rust project at the moment, and the rust based WASM engine took about 5 minutes to build running the Go build on a pure Go, tinygo based version of the same basic thing took 13 seconds
yes of course i used the `-a` tag so the only big difference was downloading the dependency packages!
ah, its for a replacement of the standard cosmwasm wasmvm, really, i'm not a shitcoiner, don't hold or recommend them at all, but i have a lot of experience working with cosmos and tendermint over the years and someone wants to have a wasmd without the cgo and i think that is a good step forward for go-kind, even if it's kinda wasteful, i think i'll manage to put it together in a month, it will be nice for go programmers to not be forced to install and use fucking mozilla hipster woke garbage on their machines, i detest rust and i hate that i need to have it installed on my system so i'm working for myself a little in this one
