I enjoy not being responsible for repairs 🤷♀️ I think some landlords are predatory but this take doesn't really have the nuance to identify them. It is possible to live without a home, that is not a survival issue. Many like myself prefer to live with freedom of location instead of security of location. My friends who own property work their asses off maintaining that property like it's a part time job. My landlord does all of that for me for a fee, which I like and they do contribute to my success and survival in that way. Saying a whole group of humans are freeloaders who contribute nothing to humanity seems like a dangerous slippery slope especially when it seems rooted in your own personal ire rather than a balanced analysis.
