Legit question, and sounds like the answer is yes.
A collection of people/computers who agree to generate ids from a subset of seeds to improve the odds of finding vanity keys for a portion of they fee collected to generate them.
99 minutes later with a second computer, I found a 7-character vanity prefix npub in 99 minutes! This was after mining non-stop for 2 days straight with the first computer. Mathematics, cryptography, and probability at work!
