Settle an argument for me. BO is always disgusting and should be avoided? Or BO is desirable when you are attracted to the person?

option 1 avoid!

It is a MASSIVE turn on with the right person and EWW with the wrong one- I used to be grossed out by it because I was with the wrong partner. My current lover is a delicious match because he passes the sniff test- especially after hours of making love.

The reason a person has body odor is toxins more odor, more toxins I don’t know?

Diet? Activity?

BO is desirable when you are attracted to the person (within reason) it's the bio compatability of pheromones 💜
I strongly agree with you. I love the natural smell of my husband particularly after he works out or works in the yard, whereas I insisted my ex always wear deodorant. Every single one of my girlfriends finds body odor disgusting. Love that you found your person Valerie! Congrats!!!
Not entirely true. Food definitely changes the scent of someone’s body odor. Particularly things like garlic and curry.
Thanks sista! It’s a blessing - yay Costa Rica Envision Festival for bringing us together. When podcast interview Susie? ✅
I strongly agree with you, but interestingly all 5 of my girlfriends at dinner last night thought the viewpoint was horrific.

Define BO. The bacterial stuff isn’t the same as the hormonal stuff.

it’s different not only from culture to culture but from person to person as well! culture i grew up is europe-centric and values personal hygiene and cleanliness. so yeah, for me most of humans (then they smell) smell bad. tbh, it was the only one person who i wasn’t disgusted of – but i was attracted to them, can’t say if it’s a cause or effect tho 🤔

I think BO is never used positively

Don't confuse BO with pheromons

I’d say it depends. BO from working out with your significant other=good BO from someone not showing in a week=bad But my wife says I can’t smell so who and I to answer this?🤙🏻

Always disgusting

Avoided, but if you need to cover it up with strong cologne or perfume, I’ll take the BO.

avoided in public, but if you like someone's bo thats personal preference
Yeah, no amount of attraction would make up for disgusting hygiene for me.
Wdym? How those things affect someone’s scent?
I’m defining it as simply body odor or someone’s natural scent. Let’s say how you smell after working all day.

Can be very desirable when you’re attracted to someone. Just ask Joe Biden. (Photo of Biden sniffing women’s hair - how do I add pics on here?)
Ha! Upload first to Nostr.build and copy/paste the link or you can do it directly with Damus using the pic icon in the lower left corner of your note.
I think a natural scent can be a turn on or a turn off - possibly a signal of compatibility. A biologically complex topic though, that can be linked to emotions, pheromones, diet, genetics, psychology, etc. All I know is that no one smells great if they don’t bathe/change clothes and allow the bacteria to get to work.
Yeah, poor hygiene is a different beast. I have had conversations with male friends about feminine odor and there is most definitely a difference between natural odor, poor hygiene odor and a medical problem in terms of vaginal odor. Males responses to this were hilarious.
