There are 21 chapters in the gospel of John. The 21st chapter of revelation describes the new heaven and new earth. "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." (Revelation of John 21:3, KJV) Not your keys, not your treasure. #bitcoin
When men's devotion is to God, he will be blessed. There are many ways to be blessed. Job and Abraham are examples of this. An incorruptible form of property in ancient times was land and cattle. These were signs of wealth. Not for vanity, but a sign of being righteous. Money itself is simply property that is convenient for exchange. Today, real estate and fiat money are highly corrupt. The state destroys and steals them from us continuously, so much so, that to hold your wealth in it at all is a form of slavery. Christ says the love of money is the root of all evil. Love of your property, including bitcoin, can be a snare. Money and riches themselves are not evil, but without a perfected heart through Christ, it is very unlikely we can posess it without becoming corrupt for love of money. One can not serve two masters. Property (mammon) can be a master if you do not follow the narrow path. I myself am tempted to put my trust in bitcoin, but bitcoin alone is not sufficient to fight our battles. We must be diligent and guard our hearts. We are blessed to be early into this new money, because it can free us from today's usury and bondage. We can store it in our minds, and this makes it a non-tangible asset free from dependence on enforcement by corrupt systems. However be mindful, the wiles of the thief are many.

I don't have a single sat that the Lord has allowed me to hold. It doesn't matter how clever I am. I know he can take it in an instant if that's what he wills. He could destroy the entire network. I think it's important to remember that. It's an important part of staying humble.
