Actually sort of painful hearing about the Welcome Wagon because it's like, I arrived and nobody cared. 😭 Other women showed up, said "Hi!" and had more followers and sats on the first day than I had after months. And they've since posted like three times because that level of attention quickly peters off and then they get bored. I busted my ass and worked hard for every follower and took a lot of crap doing so, and that's probably why I'm still here. I built this.
It's pretty cool how there's a whole bunch of people who love #thenostr enough to welcome strangers with open arms now, regardless of who they are or where they're coming from. I didn't have a huge welcome either but it was pretty early on. Zaps weren't thing yet & I had no clue how small the userbase was 😅
Yeah, but you also have to remember the sheer numbers we're dealing with, now. It simply won't be possible to chat with each one arriving.
Especially, as they sometimes come in big waves. I arrived at the same time as the e-girls and some guys thought I was one. 🙄 It was a big wave.
