#truth is independent of humans and our understanding. A great example for this is when Galileo Galilei first came up with the heliocentric theory. (The sun as the middle of our solar system) At this time most did react with disbelieve. But in the end no matter the amount of disbelieve, truth is not following our beliefs. But every individual has the power to orient his and her beliefs towards truth.
