Seems duck can identify you. It says in their terms if you break the law you’ll be responsible for damages. How would they know who broke the law if they don’t store IP data? Doesn’t add up…

And they offer several alternative models! Very good for when I've got the TOR browser up just searching things instead of my local AI instance. The duck jumps in and offers to ask the AI and integrates search results with it. Still sucks half the time like any LLM but pretty handy overall!
That said, I don't trust duckduckgo anyway. Generally like them, but I'm just not totally sure. So it's good to go over this stuff.
Does duck not have a dedicated mobile app? I have to download their browser too?
Not familiar with perplexity. I kinda stay away from LLMs most of the time. I only use them when it realllly makes sense to use them. I'm getting so much info about what peeps use, this is cool
Yeah you pretty much can't go wrong on TOR with onion sites with a lot of eyes on them, huh?
