#asknostr if i were to buy a #mac for dev testing, that will build binaries that will work with most users machines, what would be the cheapest ones i could get? i don't mind if it's maybe up to $500 or so, i really don't want to spend more than that also, i prefer a desktop machine, a mini, i guess, but a macbook would be ok also while i'm asking, what more do i need to be able to test builds of iOS apps? maybe another device? again - cheap but representative of current userbase - for this case, i would actually prefer the smallest, like 4-5" display, this would be good for making sure my UIs small size modes are usable i have linux, windows and android devices to test on, so having #macOS and #iOS physical hardware would help me ensure that i have got everyone covered

haha the installer interface is weird you have to actually, you know, format the disk first, it doesn't have an option to do that as part of the installation ah yes, so, this means i have to use an old version of xcode but whatever, it should still build stuff that can run on current gear, if my stuff is even used by mac/iphone users then probably someone can help out to update whatever gap that leaves

yeah i'm not savoring it to be honest, and idk about this qemu build and it took forever to install
