Makes it easier for people who are running their own instance. They can still use our presets, if they want (buying into our knowledge of the Nostr network), but they also can put their own at the top and make them higher-priority for rendering. On MedSchlr, it makes sense to render *.edu before *@gitcitadel.com Our instance would do GitCitadel before theforest before edu before PurpleKonnektiv before Turdsoup. ๐

Are the multiple NIP-05s listed in a separate note, or have they been added to the kind 0? I have long thought that NIP-05s would be more useful if they could be used to show multiple communities or groups that you are part of, especially with some clients now adding the ability to see a feed of those who share your NIP-05 domain.

Do you know how other clients are handling the additional NIP-05s in the Kind 0 if a user edits it from a different client?

Instead of using kind 0 for that, NIP-05 providers can return all entries if no name is specified in nostr.json
You mean, to build the list, on the fly?
Does nostr.land do NIP-05s and what icon would you want for that? Asking for a friend.

haha, yeah, you wouldn't want to play it up loud around children, even if what he is saying is completely absurd.
and yeah it is scatological, but it gets a pass because it's about scatology not actually scatology itself
