This looks beautiful.
I've been watching the developments with Windows 12 very carefully, and my honest opinion is that we're going to see a Windows tablet very soon. (No, the Surface doesn't count, I own one, it's a computer with a detachable keyboard)
Microsoft has been quietly working on their own ARM variant, the SQ series(1). They are pushing Windows on ARM *hard*. The Windows ARM dev kit is actually damn near a nice computer (2). WinUI 3 is touch reponsive(3).
The leaked images of Windows 12(4) shows a much more touch friendly interface with a start bar that looks designed (imo) to auto hide, and provide the screen UX that an iPad does.
Anyways, I guess I've thought about this too much, but as old and ornery as I am, I think the desktop is dead and phones are saturated. Right now iPad is the only serious game in tablets and I think Microsoft is going to give iPad a hell of a run for their money in the near future. I'm kinda excited, since the Surface Pro is already a great (albeit limited) experience.
